I do not know enough about former congressman Bob Barr R GA to say I would vote for him. I agree with him on cutting spending and on securing the border although he is unclear as to how he would do it. I mostly agree on individual liberties. I am unclear on his position on national defense and would like to know his position on troop withdrawal from Afghanistan and/or Iraq. His website is a little lacking on information. Input from anyone familiar with Bob Barr would be appreciated.

As congressman his record did little of consquence other than the Clinton Impeachment process of talking and talking. If he wishes to do some good the Peace Corps or Habitat for Humanity would result in a more positive effort on his part. Problem with those options is that they require work and not grinding water/talk/talk.
To build a party local election are the start a national run is an excersise in self importance.

All that Hillary, and Obama have done is the same and as far as McCain, his only accomplishment other than crashing planes, getting captured and taken POW I can’t find much else. Where do we go from here?

Once a fascist, always a fascist. We can’t believe anyone in the LP would seriously consider this candidate! Please, please, please LP! We were gonna vote LP this year but CANNOT VOTE FOR BOB BARR!!! Please don’t take away our only chance to vote for SOMEBODY!!! The LP was our last hope!!!
