I am posting this link only because Muslim’s wish respect for their religion, Allah and the prophet    Mohammad. At the same time they don’t seem to mind desecrating houses of religion, advocating the murder of people of other religions in the name of Allah. They live in a stone age society which treats women as less than equals (by a far stretch). I expect some controversy and my answer is why did you watch it. It may be offensive to Muslim’s, but then they seem to be offensive in their treatment to women, children and people of other faiths. I don’t feel bad about being negative to the people of a religion who have stated that my death and that of my fellow citizens is their goal. It extends beyond the middle east, far east, Europe, Austrailia and now into the U.S.

I Just saw on CNBC Obama saying that McCain is going to change the old boys network, To McCain the old boys network is a staff meeting. This is too funny. Didn’t B. Hussein ask Joe Biden to be his running mate? “Old Boy Network”? Didn’t McCain ask Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate? A maverick with a history of butting heads. Isn’t Obama, a product of the corrupt Chicago politrical machine a bigger part of the old boys network? Hasn’t Governor Palin shown that she has the guts to make change?

Where am I wrong?

Obama has a brother/half-brother living in a hut in Kenya and living on $12 a year. Apparantley he has not sent him another $12.00 so he could double his standard of living. He promises the US voters the world because it will not be his money. We suffer because he is against drilling in ANWR (he is not alone in either party) but he is worried about an unhappy caribou or land where most of us will never or care to go.

I could have missed it but I heard no mention from Obama (and in all fairness McCain either) but this empty suit co-sponserded a bill to make Juneteenth Day a national holiday. Juneteenth Day.

As for me Constitution Day  is more to be celebrated. I’m sure I had relatives fighting on both sides of the Civil War and by no means belittle the importance and the suffering of our country.

Today is Constitution Day. On September 17th 1787 members of the Constitutional Convention signed a magnificent and lasting document; one for the ages.

While we have added a number of amendments in the years since, the core principles of the Constitution remain embedded in our heritage:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Our Constitution remained strong for the protection of Liberty over these many years.  Unfortunately, our government has not.

Our Government and the politicians at its helm no longer have the deep respect for our Constitution that you and I share.  The two leading candidates (with the benefit of self-absorbed political parties and a complicit media) simply do not respect our Constitution.

That is because Barack Obama, John McCain, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, Hillary Clinton and many, many others, do not cherish or understand Liberty.

I will be using my platform as the Libertarian Party’s presidential nominee to advance Liberty, and force our government leaders to respect our Constitution.

Barack Obama partied with Hollywood celebrities Tuesday night and with the help of Oscar-winning singer and actress Barbra Streisand raised an eye-popping $9 million for his presidential campaign and the Democratic Party.

The night was split into two glitzy events, a reception and dinner costing $28,500 each at the Greystone Mansion, followed by entertainment by Streisand at the nearby Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. About 250-300 people were expected at the dinner and about 800 at the entertainment, which cost $2,500 a ticket. Source.

Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC)  will demand that the UN General Assembly stop the publication of any caricatures of revered personalities and derogatory remarks against religions.  Mufti  (an OIC spokesman)said a particular group in America and the European Union had been launching attacks against Islam. Obama claims this is not change. However Obama voted in line with Senate Democrats 97% of the time in 2005 and 2007 and 96% of the time in 2006. Source. If you believe that their voting records represent change it only means change from a Republican Executive branch.

My prayers go out to those residents of the TX & LA coasts in the preperation of being hit by hurricane Ike. Also for those on the stranded oil tanker. As a veteran of both hurricanes Betsy and Camille, I know what they are. When Betsy hit I was working for a company that built small drilling platforms and structure for the oil industry. I was among the last to leave Harvey, LA and cross the bridge to home in Jefferson Parish before the bridge was closed. When Camille hit I was working for Louisiana Power & Light the electric utility. I worked on the restoration of infrastructure after hurricane Gloria on Long Island.  I was with New York Telephone and we worked with LILCO the electric utility, first replacing poles with them as the power company has to get their plant cleared before the phone and cable companies can do theirs. No dialtone means no income.  If the electric meters are not turning they receive no income. When politicians blame the power & phone companies for the delay in restoring service they are as usual wrong. There is no incentive for foot dragging.

Just a question. I watched as John McCain his wife Cindy and Barak went to ground zero at 9-11. When they were given roses, Obama just stood there and tossed them in. Both McCain and his wife leaned over and laid them down.  A lack of respect, perhaps a lack in interest perhaps, a lack in judgement? He is an authority on that. Lipstick on a pig, where was Michelle? In the restroom trying to remove her lipstick?  Just asking.

There are strange happenings in the world of international jurisprudence that do not bode well for the future of free speech. In an unprecedented case, a Jordanian court is prosecuting 12 Europeans in an extraterritorial attempt to silence the debate on radical Islam.

The prosecutor general in Amman charged the 12 with blasphemy, demeaning Islam and Muslim feelings, and slandering and insulting the prophet Muhammad in violation of the Jordanian Penal Code. I have lived not far from Indian Point nuclear plant and was never concerned about safety. Not even after Three Mile Island. The safety record at US Nuclear facilities is very good overall. The “safety record” of Muslims has proven to be almost non-existent. The greatest danger to the physical facility and those worshiping within is not from an industrial accident or a natural disaster. It comes from their fellow Muslims. Either those using a mosque as an armory or bomb making facility and causing an accident such as happened in Iran or the wanton destruction and murder of those within by Islamist’s in the name of Allah. The cancer of this cult of evil, hate and death is the lack of will by Muslims to stop it. The Islamist radicals are the greatest threat to civilization as we know it. What is happening in the middle east is starting to influence European societies and is evermore creeping into U.S. society. Instead of whining about the lack of foot baths in restroom facilities or segregated gymn time for Muslim women organizations such as CAIR should be screaming about the “stupid” no longer relevant (as if they ever were) stone age belief’s of this cult. A couple of months Chrissie wrote a post on Sarah Palin and her choice to have her Down Syndrome son. That interested me as the father of a Down Syndrome child. No longer a toddler he is 32 years of age. That being said, I watched her interview with Glen Beck and even though she said she was not pursuing a pick as a vice presidential nominee at that time I was impressed. I believe her choice clinched my vote for McCain-Palin. Young, a maverick, a reformer, 2 years executive experience as governor of Alaska. Mother of 5, son enlisting and being deployed to Iraq, husband a member of the steelworker’s union is far from another lawyer. Pro life, a hunter and member of the NRA.
