Unless their is new “news” it appears that there is going to be a memorial for Caylee Anthony and he mom will not be permitted to attend? What if she is innocent, what if after a “fair trial she is convicted? If innocent that would be terrible, If later convicted, that is not the point, it was her daughter. She has been charged but not yet convicted and should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. The majority are convicting her before a fair trial. She should be allowed to attend.

Its extremely rare for a prisoner on a no bond to be allowed out to a funeral for
a person that they allegedly killed. First of all the logistics would be a nightmare
for the police and the huge outcry and also number of gawkers would be enormous.
Its actually safer for her to stay right where she is. She is presumed innocent,
but she is still charged with homicide and a judge has issued no bail for her
due to the severity of the charges. I dont believe that is unfair at all.

I believe strongly that the prison chapel and chaplin can preform a small service for casey while in prison. It can be very private 15 minutes or so. I believe her family would also be alowed to attend. no public attention or media would have to even know. cut and dry.

The law has determined that she is a flight risk and potentially harmful to herself or someone else. Also, she is a walking target. Do you really think it is responsible to release her from the safety of her cell, if you think she’s innocent; out into the world where everyone, according to the media I have seen, despises her. How could Law Enforcement protect her? She would be a walking target, and then never live to have her day in court and state whatever case she has that we don’t know about. Not to mention, the security issues and hyped up media her appearance would cause will further distract from the focal point of the services…which is little Caylee.
So, as much as I can empathize with your wanting her to be able to see her daughter off into the afterlife, realistically; if you’re as concerned for justice to be served as you stated in your last post, we need to have a live defendant. The best place for Casey until her trial date is right where she is.

If she IS guilty, Caylee would not want her mommie there, because Mommie would be the reason why Caylee was there. Besides even if and that is a big IFFFFFFFFFFcasey did not cause the death no big deal since it was no big deal for 31 days she was missing and mommie wanted to party etc, so no loss there.

As much as I would like to see Casey Anthony stuffed into a trash bag with her mouth taped, I must say you are right. In America we constantly pine over our judicial system, and stress the importance of a fair and expediant trial. In the court of public opinion, Casey has already been tried and convicted. No one could claim otherwise.
It does however, seem a bit unfair that she not be allowed to at least attend the family service for her daughter. I understand the safety risk but let’s face it, her ability to flee is about as likely as Osama Bin Laden showing up at the Pentagon!
I (as well as millions of others, I’m sure) firmly believe Caylee took her last breath while in her mothers’ presence. I don’t think attending the service would be rewarding to her and it might actually cause her to “feel something”, and get honest with the authorities as to what really happened.
I say make her go. Force her to see what people who have feelings go through when they lose someone they love. With any luck, it’ll cause her to REMEMBER day in and day out just exactly how undeserving she is.

She is in protective custody, innocent or not, it is for her protection that she is not permitted to attend.
Furthermore, even if she is innocent, by not reporting her daughter missing and being neglectful, that alone in my mind is reason enough for her not to attend.
Let’s say she DIDN’T kill Caylee (I perosnally beleive she did) her not reporting her missing right away I’m sure had something to do with Caylee’s death.
She does not deserve to attend even if she is innocent

I don’t think she should be allowed at Caylee’s funeral. I truly believe had Amy not taken Cindy to her , Caylee would not have been reported missing. I do however think she should see what her beautiful baby looks like now, that is something she would see everyday for the rest of her life and in her dreams also. Sorry if i sound cold. My question is , ( if she is innocent ) Why did she not report Caylee missing ?!?!? She has told nothing but lies since Cindy found her and confronted her, she wasn’t protecting anyone but herself. “Innocent until proven guilty”????!!!! You ever listen to the news when someone killed, confesses, etc, yet claims”not guilty” This might be what our judicial system says, but when it’s so “obvious”, I cannot see “until proven guilty”.
As for Casey, I do believe she is guilty & see nothing wrong w/Nancy Grace expressing this.
