But now America is being attacked from within by our own elected officials, who are using Cabinet level departments to silence our own citizens.
Units of the US Army, forbidden by law to operate within the US, are being trained to suppress anti-government demonstrations by US citizens inside the US.

I agree Nancy. We will not be destroyed by foreign powers but by those from within. These “tea parties” can give some hope. It is more than in a few large cities. I stopped by one here in Kingston, NY (the first capital of NY, and they were out front of some stores across from a mall. They did not block the sidewalk, but were for the most part in the green between the sidewalk and the road. I have never seen anyone walking on that sidewalk..

As a non-American, I am continually baffled by America’s support of Israel. Mind you, I must also admit I am also baffled by the Sarah Palin phenomenon, but let that go.
To return to Israel, America finances it and arms it, and I am tempted to say you get involved in ruinous wars for it (i.e. Iraq), but the last comment is very debatable, and to be honest, I don’t care to debate it.
The point I want to make is that Israel and America are two countries, and while it is in Israel’s interest to have America behind it, as Israel could hardly survive without it, militarily or economically, it is not really in America’s interest to blindingly support Israel.
PLEASE let’s not get into some kind of flaming war about this. I finish, as I began, by stating that as a foreigner, and one who has lived and worked in seven countries, I do not understand America’s relatoinship woth Israel.

Actually I don’t much about Israel & have always wondered why much emphasis is placed on that nation. Some told me that Israel has historical importance. Truthfully, I still don’t fully understand. I guess its because no one has given me a clear answer.
What is most confusing to me is this:
1. Since Israel is in the middle east, though it is Jewish & said to not be Muslim; then would it not make sense to believe that Israel has Muslim influence because its located NEAR a muslim region?
2. And what’s more confusing to me is that since U.S. is supposed to be based on Christianity & the Jews killed Jesus, then why would a Christian nation have a perpetual partnership w/the Jewish?
Please bare in mind that I am open minded on this & want to understand.

If one is indeed from another country, it may well be difficult to understand the US’s admiration and support of Israel.
Both our nations would be destroyed overnight if not for our strength and willingness to stand in the face of aggression.
The USSR is no more because we drew the line in the Vietnamese sand where the spread of communism had to stop. We let our own left defeat us but we showed China and the Ruskies that we were willing to fight and die in large numbers to stop them.
Being a 6th generation Texan, I know EXACTLY what it means to stand up to a much larger and stronger oppressor and to be willing to fight to the death in self defense.
Israel and the US both have our share of dumb Jews who ride on the back of others who do stand and fight. Lucky for them, the Jews that stand in Israel as US allies are cut from a far finer cloth than the do-nothing types. I am always amazed at how American Jews continue to vote for the weakness of the Dimocrat party which has no love for the preservation of Israel.
Dayan, Maer and Begin knew how to fight. THOSE were some great, great Jews to look up to, even for this Texas born Christian.

Israel is our best ally in the Middle East, don’t forget that it was the terrorist from the Middle East that killed over 3000 fathers, mothers and babies on 911. I also say that we’re being attack today from within our own government. Bin Laden said that the next attack on America would be from inside its own government. I think that attack is underway with big spending, socialist programs and taking over our banks and companies.

If I may, being one who has spent many years researching these histories:
When the Assyrians attacked Israel, some fought and died, some took to ships and landed in Spain and the British Isles, the bulk of the Isrealites, however, fled north over the Caucasus Mountains (hence, white people being wrongly called “caucasians”)and continued north and west, bringing God’s Law with them and civilizing all the places they settled.
Fast forward to Canada and America and there is an abundance of archeological evidence that Joseph’s children through Ephraim and Manasseh had populated America long before Spain or England.
Jacob (Israel) had twelve children who settled in tribes in the land of Canaan or what is now called the middle east.
10 of those tribes civilized the western world, and a huge population of Americans can trace their genealogies back to Jacob making them Israelites and they don’t even know it.
People say my family is “Irish” or “German” or “French”, etc.
All those places were settled , farmed and civilized by Israel.
The tie is strong between Israel and America in a very deep sense.We have the same fathers, and the same Father.

Those ten tribes of Israel were wiped out and scattered by the Assyrians and fled to other countries. “Civilized the western world?” The ancestors of the Europeans go back to Japheth one of Noahs son’s. The world was mostly inhabited by the time the Assyrians conquered Israel. The tribes of Judah and Benjamin are what make up Israel today. And Ephriam and Manassah settled in America? Where do you get that from? if you’ve spent many years researching this then you gotta go back and take another look my friend.
