    Bob, I was dreaming…people in power that sign on the dotted line for the laws to be implemented would ever go for this!

    Hell, it is so simple that it is scarry.
    Remember all of those debates on national news where several candidates gave their pitch what they stand for?

    It could be that simple. Oh! The down side is that there may be TOO many people who would run and there wouldn’t be enough air time for say 1,000 people who think they could be president.

    We’d have to figure out a way work around that.

    It is tragic that it takes a huge sum of $$ to campaign to be President. THIS IS AN HONORABLE MAN and he loves Our Country.

        I already ran up there and made this comment:

        Go Ahead! Go Ahead and Laugh at me…I’ll understand

        This man… WEST! This man is type type of person we need in the WH.

        What isn’t exactly democratic about the way campaigns go?

        The One with the most Bucks usually wins. And, you know we are talking in the Millions +.

        Seems to me, the better way to do it is to have several debates among those who are running for President; and allow the debates to be it — JUST THE DEBATES.

        That way, the BEST man will win rather than, literally, buying the election because you out spent the other candidates!

        What cha think?
        (that could be true for Bachman, Newt Gingrich or Sarah Palin as well).

          What do I think. Excellent idea. No outside influence each candidate standing on their own. No campaign contributions. In this age of the internet could be fairly inexpensive and the so called media would be forced to cover after the debate. Forbid media analysis as it is always biased. How to put something like that together is the question?? Politicians will never go for it. Newt was the closest saying if Obama wouldn’t agree to debate him he would debate Obama’s speeches around the country. Don’t have links.
