    I was shocked when a friend of the family asked my daughter and me to help her out at the new Day Care Center she just opened.
    Before I walked into the classroom on the first day, I overheard part of a conversation that startled me. The only children who were there on the first day were African Americans (state pays for their day care).
    They were discussing playing cops and robbers; and who would take the part of the cops vs. the robbers. They argued because ALL of them wanted to the the “robbers” and NOT the cops. They wanted to shoot cops!
    I walked in and stopped the game immediately.
