I watched the Greta VanSustern interview tonight

with Sarah Palin. It was great.
The best that I got out of it was that she did not rule out 2012. Everything else was gravy. She came out as being very ordinary, very intelligent and very quick. Everything that the mainstream media plays against her. Everything that we are and believe in. We all need to get behind Sarah Palin in 2012.

Amen to all the above. I am with you boudicabpi! Greta is by far the most fair and best interviewer on TV. Go Sarah!

I’m not far behind you, I will be 64 before the end of the month. I was a Sarah Palin supporter before she was picked and am advocating for her to run for president in 2012. Hit some of the links in the right sidebar.

  5. Sarah Palin is the most intelligent honest person I have ever seen on the political scene (male or female). In a day of dog-eat-dog reporting, she maintained a degree of integrity not seen in my 73 years. A gracious Lady finally adorned the stages of our election programs along with the gracious wife of John McCain, and both families showed a picture of the caliber of fine people we need in our White House. Our First Lady Laura Bush is a hard act to follow.

Shame on all who design to tear down our great country with snide criticisms an hateful rhetoric. MORE POWER to the likes of Greta van Susteren.

Two weeks after Palin was introduced as McCain’s running mate two New York women, Quinn Latimer and Lyra Kilston, decided to circulate an email denouncing her as the Republican Vice Presidential candidate. Interesting, neither of these women wouldn’t have voted for Palin anyways – as they were democrats and Palin was running on the republican ticket.

What is horrifying is that instead of celebrating the first woman to be a republican Vice President candidate, they choose to vilify her by spreading lies and hate through an ugly email campaign summed up by female actors reading the real women’s writings. They then shared this internationally.

With all of our strides for women’s rights and elimination of sexism in media – these women fueled sexism and proved to the world that we are a petty and manipulative gender.

No matter who you voted for, I encourage all women to send a note to Lyra and Quinn telling them “shame on you”. Not because they couldn’t relate to Sarah Palin, but because they felt the need to engage in ugly politics, divisive tactics and be a pawn in a political campaign. We are the 51% majority. Shouldn’t we start acting like it?
