Though I certainly agree with his sentiment, the typical response from an atheist when you say that is usually “you can’t prove a negative” and, hence, disqualify themselves from the argument on the grounds that its illogical for anyone to attempt to prove something does not exist because something that does not exist has “nothing” of which to disprove. They also tend to believe that nonbelief is the natural default state of man, and, hence, belief is created. That puts the burden of proof on the believer and, again, deflects the burden from them. Sine they believe logic is then on their side it’s a rather difficult debate. Not impossible, but challenging. Just thought I’d add my observation. Tnx.
