It’s not just Britain. For months I have warned that the Aussie Muslims, American Muslims, French Muslims, etc., who survive the jihad war in the Middle East will return to their homes and carry out these attacks in the West as well. Finally others are warning of it, too. The handful of us who have been monitoring and reporting on the jihad in the years following 9/11 predicted this long ago. The Obama administration’s pro-jihadist agenda has brought us to this tipping point.

These veterans of al-Qaeda and its affiliates constitute a fundamentally different threat than that which America faced in 2001: they are Western (at least in nationality); they are seasoned combat veterans; they are known, but perhaps too numerous to track.

Mr Doran writes that the Syrian revolution, in which the US has sided with those seeking to topple Mr Assad, has taken the focus away from the real enemy: al-Qaeda.

“If these Islamist veterans of the Syrian conflict succeed in pulling off a terrorist attack against the United States, the problem with America’s policy in Syria will come into focus immediately,” he says. (Daily Beast)

A senior Kurdish intelligence officer says militants allowed to survive in Iraq will go on to carry out attacks in the West.

A senior Kurdish intelligence officer has warned hundreds of British nationals have joined ISIS extremists in Iraq and could be used to attack the UK.

Lahoor Talabani, director of counter terrorism for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), said up to 450 Britons were amongst the ISIS ranks and added that the West should not see the conflict as solely against the Iraqi government.

He told Sky News: “If only 10% of these people survive, if I know Abu Bakr el Baghdadi (ISIS leader) he will use these people to attack the UK.
