Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz (D), has asked Donald Trump to help pay for the damage that was done to the city of Minneapolis to the tune of $500 million.
Huh?
Yeah.
Walz said, “We need to come together to ensure Minnesotans who were victims of this destruction have access to the critical infrastructure they need so they can go to the grocery store, pick up their medication, and live their lives.”
Now, before we proceed, let me make it very clear that I do indeed feel for the people who lost businesses that in a lot of cases they spent their entire adult lives building up. But at the very same time, I don’t think it’s fair that my tax dollars go to help pay for lawless acts that were perpetrated on the city of Minneapolis in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
