After Hope Hicks, a senior White House political advisor, tested positive for the Wuhan Coronavirus, President Trump and the First Lady were tested, and also showed positives. All three have quarantined themselves. Some progressives reacted to the news by publicly expressing their hope that Mr. Trump would die of the disease, while others said that he must be faking it to gain political advantage.

In other news, a patrol vessel for the Italian Guardia di Finanza fired shots across the bow of a suspected people-smuggler’s boat after being rammed by it.
